Books June – December 2014

December 18, 2014

Looking for a last-minute Christmas gift? Books are still a popular choice. Me Before You is the story of Will a quadriplegic man who had everything and lost it all in the blink of an eye after an accident. Louisa is hired to help care for and be a companion for wheelchair bound Will. I really enjoy the show so thought this would be an interesting read. I love the fact Teresa’s personality comes across in the book, no-nonsense, funny and caring  just like in her show…

December 28, 2013

I thought it was about time I talked about books having not blogged about them for ages and even though the last few months have been busy, I have still managed to fit in a little reading. Gone Girl This book was really hyped up and on all the best seller lists so I eventually got round to reading it this summer. This unusual psychological thriller has lots of good twists and it was a good read until the last couple of chapters.
